Activity related to the proposed action:

Khalid Al-Begain is a Professor of Mobile Computing and Networking and leader of the Mobile 
Computing and Networking Research Group in the School of Computing of the University of Glamorgan.
He is the principal Investigator for EPSRC Grant on QoS multicast routing in Mobile IP networks. 
The Research group comprises 5 staff and 10 PhD research students. Activities in the group cover, 
Traffic characterization, Advanced Queueing network models, QoS routing (unicast and multicast), 
Resource Management and Call admission Control, and Congestion control, buffer management, and applying 
the above topics to 3G - 4G mobile networks. Our main strength lies in creating novel performance models 
for GPRS-UMTS systems,  novel multi-level CAC algorithms, Performance evaluation, and QoS routing 
for 3G-4G mobile networks.
