Activity related to the proposed action:

- Cross-layer control of mobile ad-hoc networks
- Reliability of mobile systems 
- Mobile Web services security
- Intelligent resource management for multiservice IP networks

Our main research interests include the interoperation of transport, network and link layer controls, especially the power optimization of the cross layer solution. We are also interested in wireless private networks (Bluetooth), primarily in the power optimised scheduling and multihop network formation algorithms and the network reliability constraints due to packet loss. We are especially interested in network reliability and service availability in mobile systems. In terms of the mobile web services, we do research to identify the features required to analyse the feasibility of implementing the web services solutions designed for the fixed networks in the mobile context.
