Activity related to the proposed action:

1. QoS architectures for future packet-switched mobile networks: - 
Differentiated Services in packet-switched mobile networks 
2. End-to-end QoS provisioning:  Interoperation of mobile networks and external 
IP networks, Mapping of QoS classes in packet-switched mobile networks 
3. QoS-aware IP mobility protocols (extensions, modifications and proposals). 


The research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. 
We are working in several Telecommunication projects (RNRT / TEMIC, ...)
Since 2000, Pascal LORENZ is Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications 
Magazine Editorial Board. He is the secretary of IEEE ComSoc Communications 
Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee. He is member of many 
conferences technical program committees, he has organized and chaired several 
technical sessions. He is the author of 2 books and 90 international 
publications in journals and conferences.
