QoS support in ad-hoc networks (current participation in VI Framework STREP Project WIDENS, devoted to Ad-Hoc networking for public safety applications).

Implementation of wireless network elements (activities in developing networking devices for wireless networks, such as routers, hosts, etc, using tools as Click, XORP, etc)

Simulation of networks using ns-2, Opnet

Analytical modeling of network protocols (current participation in VI Framework NoE EuroNGI, and in WOG project funded by Flemish Government, previous participation in ACTS project MOEBIUS on designing an GPRS-based extranet for telemedicine applications)

Previous work on traffic modeling (e.g. COST 242, 257, EU funded Projects RACE 1022, BAF, EXPERT, etc)
