Activity related to the proposed action:

At our research group, we are currently working on the area of QoS provisioning
fro multimedia traffic in wireless environments. We have been particular
focusing on WLAN technologies, such as IEEE 802.11 (particularly IEEE802.11e),
HIPERLAN/2. We are now moving to WMAN standard such as IEEE 802.16 and
HIPERMAN. 
Our research efforts are being sponsored by one national and one regional
research projects. Besides, we have another close related project on wireless
sensor networks. Our resrach group members working actively is composed of 2
full professors, one associate professors, two assistant professors and four
scholarship holders.
We can actively contribute on the “Definition of MAC and UPC mechanism for the
QoS provision under fairness constraints”  and research on  the use of
existing/new L2 and L3 Qos Architectures” topics 2 and 7  in the list of the
topics under the area of Qos proivisio0ning.
