Activity related to the proposed action:

I have a Ph.D. in informatics engineering from the University of Coimbra. During my doctoral work, I spent 3 years at Columbia University as a visiting scholar. My major research interests are quality of service, multicast, routing and mobility. I participated in several Portuguese and European projects such as COST263 and Telematics Applications. Currently, I'm a task leader in the Ambient Network project from the 6FP.
For Cost290, I'm willing to bring a project that aims to develop an architecture that enables the deployment of multimedia streaming services in the future mobile operators IP networks, comprising a novel core network architecture for support of several wireless technologies, QoS control in multimedia-enabled wireless networks, and QoS signalling. Hence working groups 2 and 3 are more suitable for me.
